We held a meeting on September 16th, 2023 in our downstairs meeting room that was attended by about 20 members of our Legion Post, Auxiliary members, Scout leaders, SAL members and others. Our intention at this meeting was to alert everyone that we are in dire need of bringing our Post back to the activity level that will enable us to pay our bills and continue our service to our community and nation as the Veterans Organization that we are. We met for approximately 2 hours and then dismissed everyone from the meeting except for those members that could vote on our future as far as closing or continuing on in a new direction. We voted to stay open until March 17th, 2024 and then reevaluate our conditions at that time.
